How to find us

By Air:

At the moment there are daily flights from Stanstead direct to La Rochelle. Or there are alternative flights from Stanstead to Limoges or Poitiers which is about an hours drive to Chambon. (Sometimes cheaper than to La Rochelle).

Flybe have just started daily flights from Southampton to La Rochelle and from Bristol to Bordeaux.

We should be able to arrange transport from the airport to Chambon.

There are flights from most airports to Paris CDG. Then take RER line from CDG to Paris Orly airport and pick up a flight direct to La Rochelle.

For flight details and prices try BMI Baby for cheap flight to Paris and Air Jet France for internal flights to La Rochelle. This option is more expensive than the Stanstead option.

By Train:

You can take the Eurostar from London Waterloo to Paris Nord, travel across Paris by Metro to Montparnesse and then take a direct train to La Rochelle or Surgeres (closer).

By Car:

You can either take the Channel tunnel or a ferry. Although St. Malo is the nearest port it is a long crossing, but the drive is shorter (about 3 to 4hr), therefore it is best to take the overnight Ferry. You can take Ferries to other ports, Cherbourg and Le Havre which have shorter crossings but a longer drive ( about 5-6 hours from Cherbourg)
